Conferences of the Federation

The most recent conference of the Federation was held from 8-12 August 2007 in Sofia, Bulgaria. It was organised by the president of the Federation, Professor Krassimira Daskalova. A selection of papers presented at the conference will be edited in a special issue of the Women's History Review. 

The conference opened with a panel that celebrated the twentieth anniversary of the Federation.  The speakers were two of the founding organisers of the Federation, Professor Ida Blom and Dr Karen Offen and former federation president, Professor Mary O'Dowd.  For the text of their papers click here.
