At the business meeting of the Council at the Amsterdam conference, the following were nominated as honorary members of the Board of the Federation in recognition of their continued involvement and support for the Federations's activities:

Professor Ida Blom, founding member and the first president of the Federation

Professor Patricia Grimshaw, president of the Federation, 1995-2000

Professor Mary O'Dowd, president of the Federation, 2000-2005

Dr Karen Offen, founding member and the first secretary-treasurer of the Federation.
